At E3, we are used to seeing Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo along with many other video game publishers hold their press conferences. Exciting details are shared about the latest games or products we love.
PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo systems have been in the limelight at E3 for years. However, something was missing from the action, something that deserves to be there and that’s PC!
Although PC games are a part of E3 and many announcements are made, fans deserve their own PC centric show at E3. I am happy to report that this year at E3 PC gamers are getting an event for their favorite gaming platform.
Thanks to PC Gamer, who is organizing the event, and AMD who are presenting the “PC Gaming Show.” AMD Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Computing and Graphics Matt Skynner:
The PC Gaming Show embodies the spirit of innovation, openness and community that’s part of our DNA—delivered by gamers, for gamers. The time is right for a PC-focused event in the week of E3 and we’re honored to be part of bringing the industry together.
The event in question is going to be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. The show will be attended by Boss Key Games’ Cliff Bleszinski, Dean Hall the creator of DayZ and reps from Blizzard Entertainment, Cloud Imperium Games, Tripwire Interactive, Bohemia Interactive, Paradox Interactive, and Humble Bundle.
More details about the event will be shared soon.
