A brand new Just Cause 3 trailer shared by the developer earlier showed breath taking destruction and beautiful environments.
The game is colorful, vibrant and Rico seems to be having fun with his usual shenanigans.
While watching the footage, not many of us noticed some of the features of the game that were revealed to us. Don’t worry, developers have shared ten features that were in the new trailer.
Square Enix referred to Rico as the most dynamic hero in video games today. So obviously, his equipment should compliment his diversity. Developers have added the Wingsuit for Rico that will allow him to “swoop across Medici at breakneck speeds.”
Rico’s trademark grapple is getting an overhaul, with an added ability of teething together up to 5 things. Creative destruction is back!
Just Cause series is no stranger to explosions and same will be the case with Just Cause 3. Medici is filled with petrol stations, gas tanks and plenty of electrical substations. One blast can trigger another, potentially creating a chain of explosions.
Developers have added new physics-based destruction system, meaning almost everything in world of JC3 will break down.
The “Reeled Hang”
In the trailer, we saw Rico hanging up-side from a helicopter to shoot down another one. Rico can utilize this unique position by “hooking onto the underside of anything in the world.”
If killing a plethora of people and destroying structures wasn’t enough, Rico will now go after plants and trees as well. Rico can destroy trees with rockets, drive through fields of lavender or sunflowers.
Not even mother nature can escape the destruction this time around.
Just Cause 3 trailer also showed a monorail train smashing through a bus. These monorails are new addition to the game.
Below you see a massive “mini” gun that in no way looks mini. This baby can slice through anything “like a hot knife through butter.”
Massive buildings and petrol stations aren’t the only things you can destroy. You can now take down bridges using explosives.
Rico is now able to walk across the roof of every vehicle in the game. This will allow Rico to perform crazy stunts in Just Cause 3.
Just Cause 3 is expected sometime this Holiday season.
