While this is not the first time today that we are talking about Halo 5 Guardians, it certainly is the most interesting news.
By now, you might already know of the #HUNTtheTRUTH marketing campaign being held by Microsoft. If you don’t, you should because it is not only turning into an interesting hunt but it is also suggesting something in relation to the gameplay.
What happened was that recently numerous different accounts of Microsoft started sending out emails to users with seemingly random and incomplete images that soon started to be recognized as small pieces of a puzzle.
The images have been received by many Halo 5 Guardians fans almost all over the globe. So far, as many as 53 of these puzzle pieces have been recovered. There could be more but since they are usually hidden in a webpage or an email, fans might still have missed out on some of them.
Anyhow, immediately after understanding what Microsoft was trying to do, the community has started adding the pieces together and only in a small span of time they have managed to complete at least half of the full puzzle picture.
As you can see below, it features both our heroes with a backdrop of a battlefield. However, there is a lot more to it. Very far in the background you can see a figure that is still not complete but appears too be something new.
More importantly, you can make out at least four spartans standing on either side of the image i.e. Spartan Locke and Master Chief’s side.
This is being regarded as a hint at a four player coop that could be featured in some of the modes and maybe even the campaign.
Obviously, neither the puzzle is complete yet nor has 343 Industries confirmed anything like this; so all we can rely on right now is our own speculations.
What do you think about the alleged four player coop in Halo 5 Guardians?
