Call of Duty: Black Ops III is going to spice up the game’s multiplayer mode by introducing a new specialist character system.
At the moment, this new system seems to be heavily inspired by Titanfall and Destiny. Players will have access to nine specialist classes, and each will feature two abilities. To give a fair idea about what kinds of abilities to expect, Treyarch is including an ability to see through walls, switching directions while jumping, power sliding, and a robot that can transform into a hurting weapon. We’ll know how far their imagination extends once we get a full reveal of each class.
Treyarch confirmed that players in Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be able to run across walls and use jetpacks to hop across the terrain. We’re going to hope that with these aspects and ‘abilities,’ it would be wise for Treyarch to design large multiplayer maps.
The game will also feature a single-player campaign which will have support for up to four-player cooperative mode. However, those who wish to play it alone can do so. Treyarch though has clarified that the maps have still been designed with four-player co-op in mind.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is slated for a release on November 6 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
