According to a new report, Gears of War remaster is coming to Xbox One. If sources are to be believed, Gears of War remaster will feature improved visuals and reworked cut-scenes.
Some stills were also shown to our friends over at Polygon, that featured the Locust invasion with overhauled visuals.
Rumors have been flying around regarding a Gears of Wars remaster for a while. However, Microsoft nor Epic ever came out to confirm the project.
While Black Tusk is developing the next Gears of War, another source suggests that Splash Damage is working on the remaster of Gears of War. Some job listings suggest Splash Damage is working on a well-known AAA game with next-gen technology.
It isn’t clear if Gears of War remaster means they are working on the first game, or a complete collection of previous titles. The source say that the multiplayer runs at 60 frames per second though.
Where there is smoke, there is fire!
We are expecting Gears of War 4 to make an appearance at E3, it is possible that the remaster is going to be announced before or at E3.
We are trying to reach Microsoft for a comment regarding these claims of the source, and we’ll get back to you as soon as something is shared.
Till then, feel free to let us know of your take on the story in the comment below.
