Rumor: Call of Duty Exclusivity Deal Could Be Moved to Sony

Call of Duty exclusivity deal could shift to Sony from Microsoft. Some new suggestive evidence indicate Sony's sudden love affair with Call of Duty.

As every Call of Duty fan knows, Microsoft has an exclusivity deal with Activision for Call of Duty marketing and DLC content. However, things could change soon and that long running deal could be leaning towards Sony and PlayStation.

According to a new report based on some suggestive evidence, Sony is going to take Microsoft’s place. If that happens, this could change the face of Call of Duty Championship and Black Ops 3 events.

Here are the things that should of worry for Microsoft and Xbox fans:

Exhibit A) Official Sony Twitter account tweeted both teasers and uploaded to their YouTube channels at the exact time they went live. Microsoft waited at least an hour in both cases.

Exhibit B) Sony hasn’t uploaded a Call of Duty video since Call of Duty Ghosts.

Exhibit C) No Xbox One branding at beginning of teasers.

Exhibit D) Neogaf “Industry Insider” Kyoufu is indicating that the Call of Duty exclusivity deal has moved over to Sony.

Of course, this could all just be a stretch and could just mean that Sony is showing more interest in COD this year. Whatever is the case, we will know soon enough.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is getting its big reveal this Sunday. If a deal is going down between Sony and Activision, news could be shared on the occasion.
