EA, possibly in a bid to improve its image among gamers, is starting Humble Origin Bundle 2. The initiative lets gamers get their hands on some of their favorite games, and all the profits from it will go to charity.
The selection of titles being offered includes some pretty decent games. Some of them can be yours by paying what you want, but if you wish to pay a bit more than the average you can get even more games.
Here’s the list of games you are can buy:
Pay what you want and receive:
- Command & Conquer Generals + Zero Hour DLC
- Dead Space 2
- Dragon Age: Origins
- Medal of Honor Allied Assault: War Chest
Pay more than the current average ($4.52) and receive:
- Bejeweled 3
- Dragon Age II
- Mass Effect 2
- Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
- More games to be announced later
The money will go to three charities including Girls Who Code, The V Foundation and BuildOn. Buyers are given the option to decide how they want to split their payments across these three charities. The initiative has generated quite a lot of money as it has sold over 43,000 bundles at the time of this writing.
