The Evil Within gave us something which Resident Evil failed to give for a while. The game took us back to the roots of survival horror and it felt awesome to feel a chill down my spine while playing the game.
The game actually made us value our character’s life and think things through instead of spraying bullets all over. The Evil Within was a decent enough experience, but it left us with plenty of questions and mysterious.
One such mystery is the motives and background of Juli Kidman.
Just recently, Bethesda released The Assignment DLC for The Evil Within which was roughly three and a half hours long, and told us a bit more about Kidman.
Juli’s character is more likeable compared to our original protagonist sebastian and in the last DLC her skill-set featured stealth as an integral part.
Players who enjoyed The Assignment will be able to take control of Juli once again in The Consequence. The DLC is now available to download on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 owners can expect the roll-out tomorrow.
The Consequence will tell us more about the whereabouts of Juli during the events of The Evil Within. Her motives will become clearer and several other questions are expected to be answered.
The Evil Within: The Consequence is available separately for $9.99 or as part of the Season Pass, which is available for $19.99.
