Attention all PlayStation gamers, we have some news for you all. Your favorite gaming network will undergo maintenance on April 22, according to Sony Computer Entertainment.
Normally, I would tell you that you won’t be able to play games online with friends and family, but this time that’s not the case. During the maintenance period, which is expected to last 3 hours or so, players will be able to play online multiplayer and use some other network features.
However, you won’t be able to do the following:
- Sending PSN messages
- Receiving PSN messages
- Deleting PSN messages
- Changing the group message title
- Adding members to a group message
The aforementioned limitations will spread across three PlayStation systems including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
The maintenance will kick-off on Wednesday 22nd April from 05:00 until 08:00 BST. Thankfully, it looks like party chat on PS4 will remain unaffected as well, so you can communicate with your friends via party chat if you wish.
Maintenance time depends on your region, but you can use time converting tools such as this one to know the exact schedule for your time zone.
