Zack Synder, director of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice released the first teaser trailer of the most anticipated movie along with five new posters.
The teaser has an underlying ‘darker tone’ to it, an outrage is rising and we are yet to witness the most epic fight in the history of superheroes. The trailer opens with Superman’s statue, with some people praising him and the others questioning his abilities and motives.
A group of people are then seen reaching towards him, but wait a second are those white and black paints on their faces? Hmm.. why is that, some costume night perhaps?
In the next shot, it looks like Superman has an army of his own with own with ‘S-man’s sign’ on their shoulders. Or they could just be militants bowing in respect. Next we hear Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) saying, ‘Devils don’t come from hell beneath us, they come from the sky.’
People of Metropolis are divided; they are questioning Superman’s existence in this world. While citizens are shouting “Go home, go home!” referring to Superman, his statue is lightened with ‘FALSE GOD’ written over it.
Then we have Ben Affleck’s first look as Bruce Wayne, he looks weak doesn’t he? Wait until he wears his Batman avatar. Jeremy Irons’ Alfred Pennyworth, says to Wayne, ‘That’s how it starts, the fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness, that turns good men…..cruel.’
Towards the end we finally see Batman confronting Superman; while S-man is in the air, Batman says from the ground ‘Tell me, do you bleed? You will.’ In an ultra heavy, growly and deep voice, which I think works just fine to match the Classic Batman.
Watch the trailer up and don’t forget to check out the posters below.
