Star Wars: Battlefront Goes Behind-The-Scenes in First Developer Diary

Star Wars: Battlefront has received its first developer diary which takes us behind-the-scenes of the game’s production.

In the video, developer DICE talks about how the team started work with the goal to create one of the most life-like settings for a video game ever. For Star Wars: Battlefront, DICE visited the famous Lucas Arts vault to first-hand see assets used in the movies, as well as visiting the original locations where the movies were filmed.

Star Wars: Battlefront will take place amid the conflicts of the original film trilogy. There will be 40-player battles featuring both the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire forces.

The game will feature no single-player campaign. Instead there will be series of missions that can be played alone or online through its cooperative mode.

You can check out its impressive reveal trailer here, which was released over the weekend during the Star Wars Celebration taking place in Anaheim, California. It takes place in the woodland of Endor, with more battles taking place on Hoth, Tatooine and Sullust. The trailer’s soundtrack is amazing, the voicing intense, the atmosphere nostalgic, and pretty much includes every aspect to have people start pre-ordering the game.

Star Wars: Battlefront is confirmed for a release on November 17 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
