Star Wars Celebration brought forth massive news regarding Star Wars Battlefront. Not only is it confirmed that the game will really come out on November 17, the first DLC content pack has also been revealed in the form of Battle of Jakku.
While the downloadable content was revealed initially at the event, it has now been detailed properly through the official website of the game. It is going to come first as a preorder bonus!
Pre-order Star Wars Battlefront and on December 1st, 2015, be among the first players to experience the Battle of Jakku, the pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet in the Outer Rim. Taking place in the aftermath of the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor, players will experience the events that created the massive, battle-scarred landscape of Jakku shown in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Players who pre-order Star Wars Battlefront can fight the battle one week early. All other players will get access to this content on December 8th, 2015.
The first and the foremost advantage of getting the DLC is then going to be the fact that you will get acquainted with the events of the Battleof Jakku which is a preceding event to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Of course if you preorder the game you are going to be seven days ahead of everyone else who is playing the game but even if you don’t preorder it, the developers are going to make it available for free after December 8.
Last but not the least Star Wars Battlefront Battle of Jakku DLC is going to bring you “2 maps set on the all-new planet of Jakku.”
Star Wars Battlefront releases on November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
