The explosive reveal trailer of Star Wars: Battlefront is live, and comes straight from the ongoing Star Wars Celebration taking place in Anaheim, California.
It is riddled with action and takes place in the woodland of Endor, with more battles taking place on Hoth, Tatooine and Sullust. The trailer’s soundtrack is amazing, the voicing intense, the atmosphere nostalgic, and pretty much includes every aspect to have people start pre-ordering the game.
“The ominous thud of an AT-AT stomping down. Rebel forces firing blasters. Imperial speeder bikes zipping by. Intense dogfights between squadrons of X-wings and TIE fighters filling the skies.”
Note that the trailer is in-engine and what you see here is not in-game footage, but it does give a fair idea of how the final game will look.
Earlier today, developer EA and publisher EA revealed that Star Wars: Battlefront will take place amid the conflicts of the original film trilogy. There will be 40-player battles featuring both the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire forces.
Additionally, the game will feature no single-player campaign. Instead there will be series of missions that can be played alone or online through its cooperative mode.
Star Wars: Battlefront is confirmed for a release on November 17 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
