The latest news piece to be picked out of the bag of rumors suggests that Sony is going to be announcing a sequel to Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch soon.

The colorful role-playing game was developed by Level-5 and released on the Nintendo DS in 2010, and then on the PlayStation 3 in the following year. The game was met with rave reviews and players found it tremendously easy to immerse themselves in its vibrant and charming world.

According to Twitter user Tidux, who is known for calling game announcements ahead of their intended time, the sequel to Ni No Kuni is going to be exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Teasing and then confirming the game in a series of tweets, he said the the announcement should come soon.

E3 is just on the horizon and this would be an excellent announcement to start their conference with. With the amount of love shown for the original game, it makes sense to follow it up with another installment. However, if the rumor of it being exclusive to Sony is true, then it will be a major blow for Nintendo owners.

E3 2015 is going to take place between June 16-18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
