Batman Arkham Knight was announced back in 2014 and at the time, it was due out only a few months after its reveal. However, many expected the game to be delayed and that’s exactly what happened.
Developer Rocksteady needed more time with the game and said they would release it on June 2. But once again, we were left with a bitter taste in our mouth when the game was further delayed a few weeks. Waiting for Batman Arkham Knight was hard enough for us, why Rocksteady keeps trolling us like that?
Thankfully, Director Sefton Hall has assured us that there won’t be anymore delays. Batman Arkham Knight is heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 23.
Put in your holiday request Jackie! It’s definitely dropping on June 23rd. https://t.co/jISwsMDooO

That’s a relief isn’t it?
That means the epic journey of Batman in Arkham will end on June 23. The game will be the last installment in the Arkham trilogy and will conclude Batman’s current story.
However, will Batman be seen again in video games? I’m sure he will be, but when? At what capacity? Being a long time Batman fan I don’t want him to be sidelined ever, but you have to make way for others too.
It’s a longshot, but I would love if Rocksteady was given a chance to develop a real AAA quality Superman or Arrow game. One can dream right?
