Bungie has been praised as well as criticised for the choices they made with Destiny; but that comes with the territory. When you are making a big game, you are supposed to get something right the first time and maybe fail at fixing another for a while, it is only human to take time to adjust according to the expectations.
One thing that has always been important to the fans of the game, but which Bungie sort of missed out on was the way to deal with old weapons and gear that people have had with them. We all know how new expansions come in and render all your farming efforts useless by introducing new and better gear.
If you are one of the guys who doesn’t like to see those old weapons and gear go, sort of, wasted, then you are going to be glad for what the developers are planning.
During the weekly updates post on the official website of Destiny, Bungie revealed their calendar for the future in relation to the House of Wolves expansion.
On April 22, they will be revealing future plans regarding the existing exotic and legendary gear alongside a discussion on the same:
Next week we’ll be kicking things off by revealing the upgrade path for your existing Exotic and Legendary gear. We know this is an important subject for you.
For the same day, they shared an image (see below) that hints at weapon level being maxed out alongside a description of the schedule for April 22 which reads “walking tour of the The Reef, with a live discussion about the upgrade paths for your gear.”
