The new Guitar Hero is going to get its official reveal tomorrow, suggests a teaser video posted by Activision today.
The short video runs for about fifteen seconds and goes backstage to hype up artists readying up for a concert. You can see their polished guitars, a complete drum set, and then finally the huge crowd outside when the camera pans out to the stage.
The video concludes by mentioning the time 15:00 GMT/10:00 EDIT for tomorrow, when we’ll probably be seeing the publisher unveil the new Guitar Hero installment.
While it has not been confirmed, the new Guitar Hero is expected to arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is said to take a more realistic approach, boasting lifelike crowds, more accurate models of performers, and better sound quality. New guitar peripherals are said to be already in development and will probably be unveiled at the exposition this summer.
Guitar Hero took a long break after the release of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock in 2010. A major factor of its hiatus was the low number of sales of rhythm games, which had reached the lowest point in its life. Whether a new installment will punch new numbers, remains to be seen.
