The highly anticipated Star Wars: Battlefront is going to receive its debut trailer on April 17 next week. According to its developer, the trailer will feature in-game graphics and which will be so visually sound that players might believe it’s all CGI.
This fact was hyped up by DICE’s Lead Level Designer Dennis Brannvall, who took to Twitter saying “I’m going to answer a question in advance: Yes, that is actually what the game looks like.”
It makes you wonder just how good the game is looking to have players wonder what’s authentic and what’s not.
To further spice things up, an image was recently publisher by the developer. Purposely blurred and out of focus, a character pictured on the computer screen in the back strongly depicts Darth Vader. At least the zoomed in box to the top-left screen shows the outlines to his mug.
April 17 is going to be the first time that we’ll see the game in action and is also when the Star Wars celebration takes place.
Star Wars: Battlefront is in development for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. A release date is yet to be announced but we can expect the title later this year.
A recent listing from GameStop Italy suggested that the game will release on December 10 for all platforms. This however has not been authenticated by official sources.
