Call of Duty fans must be pretty happy to hear about another installment in the Black Ops series. The game was announced earlier today and we can expect to see more of it in the coming weeks.
To add to your excitement, some new information has been shared on the official Call of Duty website. According to Black Ops 3’s official description, the game will see the return of Zombies mode.
The mode has become an integral part of Call of Duty over the years and was included in last year’s Call of Duty Advanced Warfare as well. No doubt, it’s return will be welcomed by fans.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare. With three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies, providing fans with the deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever.
Black Ops 3 will once again take place in a futuristic setting, similar to the one we saw in Black Ops 2. However, it’s unclear if we’ll shift between timelines.
The game is in development at Treyarch and over at their official Facebook page, they recently shared articles regarding embedded implants, biohacking etc. This could give an indication of the direction Black Ops 3 is heading.
Few weeks ago, research company SuperData predicted the announcement of Black Ops 3 while sharing sales figures for Advanced Warfare. Their claim was correct which brings us to another interesting matter at hand. SuperData also said Capcom will release Resident Evil 7 this year.
Could that be true as well? We’ll have to wait and see.
