Deus Ex Mankind Divided Gets First Details, Leaked Screenshots

When the new Dawn Engine was revealed by the series developers, we had prayed that a new game comes trotting along soon. Those prayers, my friends, have been heard!

Couple of hours ago screenshots for the next iteration in the series, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, were leaked online.

The images showed off our protagonist Adam Jensen in a sleekly designed suit and packed with some hot guns. In those images, we were shown off the difference that the new engine is making visually and also some customization details on one of the guns. You may check them out at the end of this story.

While Square Enix didn’t jump on the occasion, it was later clarified why they had kept their quiet. The cover story for latest edition of Game Informer magazine was shown off today and it features Deus Ex Mankind Divided.

The magazine not only gives us a much clearer look at Adam Jensen through the cover (see gallery below), it also confirms some of the initial details for the game.

For instance, the game is being developed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC – just like the leak suggested.

The game is set in 2029 after the events of Human Revolution. The world hates transhumans and Jensen has a new and more refined suit which allows him to “remote hack electronic objects, fire off his nano blade from a distance, and surround himself with a nearly indestructible nanoshield.”

This is some really exciting stuff, and the magazine’s May issue is going to dig deeper into the new augmentations that Deus Ex Mankind Divided is going to bring for Jensen alongside an in depth analysis of the story relating to the rift between humans and transhumans.

Here’s to getting a release date soon!
