Xbox Video Offers Star Wars Digital Movie Collection with Exclusive Content

Star Wars Digital Movie Collection was recently announced by Disney for all the diehard fans who wish to own the entire saga of six movies.

It has now been revealed that Xbox is an official launch partner for the collection’s digital distribution through the Xbox Video service.

Not only will you be able to get the collection through a Saga bundle on the Xbox Video service, you will also get exclusive content for doing so.

Larry Hryb aka Major Nelson took to his official blog with the announcement post and also listed all the bonuses that users are going to get:

Microsoft is offering two exclusive incentives for fans who purchase the six-film bundle on Xbox Video. First, they will receive everyone’s favorite scrappy astromech droid, R2-D2, as an Xbox Live avatar companion that flashes characteristics of classic R2-D2 from “A New Hope.” Also, they will receive the action-packed Star Wars Pinball Pack for the free-to-play game Pinball FX 2, for Xbox One or Xbox 360.

That is not all, apart from the incentives being offered by Microsoft, there are some that Disney itself is bringing to the table.

If you pre-purchase Star Wars Digital Movie Collection on Xbox Video, you will get an exclusive video feature – all you need to do is buy the Star Wars Saga bundle that brings you all six movies.

Xbox Video is a service that has been in operation since the last two years and is now available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 8/RT, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone.
