Twitch is using the ban hammer against Japanese beat ’em up game Senran Kagura: Estival Versus. According to twitch, users can’t stream this game on their platform.
Senran Kagura: Estival Versus came out recently in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. The authorities in the region gave it an CERO D, which is 17 or above. The game features objectionable nudity and female Ninjas in revealing costumes (I don’t have any objections to that, do you?).
One user asked Twitch for an explanation as to why they are banning this game, to which a company rep gave the following response.
“Our rules and conduct and pretty cut and dry. We do not allow games of this nature of our platform. If you would like to look for other platforms to stream these types of visual novels that have adult content, then please feel free.”
Even after this statement, plenty of streams for Senran Kagura: Estival Versus can be found on the platform. The company hasn’t successfully been able to block every stream and it would be very difficult to completely block the game.

Lastly, players of Senran Kagura: Estival Versus should know that they are getting a huge update. Not much is known about it yet but producer Kenichiro Takaki said it will bring major changes in the game.
You can expect the update to roll-out sometime later this month.
