It has been a while since Godzilla the 2014 video game title was released to PlayStation 3 in Japan.
While we are still waiting for the game to hit the racks in the western markets, the developers apparently are already taking about releasing the game to another console in the Japanese regions.
According to the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu, the game will make it to PlayStation 4 in the region approximately on the same time when it releases to the west i.e. in summers.
This will bring the Japanese and western fans of the game on the same level as both regions will have PlayStation 4 versions.
That being said, the PlayStation 4 version of Godzilla is going to let the players play as the Godzilla as well as other monsters that were featured in the game’s PlayStation 3. Needless to say, all the missions are also going to be a part of thee upcoming version of the game.
Monsters that have been featured in the game are Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, Biollante, Jet Jaguar, Destoroyah, Hedorah, Gigan and SpaceGodzilla.
Godzilla was originally released in the Japanese region on December 18, 2014 as a PlayStation 3 title. The North American release of the game will be made on July 1, 2015.
As far as the Japanese release of the PlayStation 4 version is concerned, Bandai Namco Games has not given us a specific date of release yet; however, it would be sometime close to the western release of the game.
