Alright then baseball fans who have Xbox One! your time is here, RBI Baseball 15 has been released on Microsoft’s latest console.
Even if you were born in the nineties, you might not even remember the first game that came out in that series. It was way back in 1986 when Namco developed the game for Nintendo Entertainment System and PlayChoice-10.
It is the first ever series of Major League Baseball that was licensed by Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA). In the gaming world, RBI Baseball games got many sequels that were released almost regularly until 1995 before being put on ice.
The series returned last year with RBI Baseball 14 which was released on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Android and iOS.
Now, we have RBI Baseball 15 at our hands which has dropped the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions in favor of a PC release. The platforms where you can play it are Xbox One, PS4, Android, iOS, and Steam. However, it is just the console version that the game has been released on yet.
So what exactly does the game pack, you might ask. Well, here’s the official description that shines light on the game modes and clubs involved:
The legendary Major League Baseball franchise returns to the diamond. Master the art of hitting and fielding with 2-button retro controls or control the movement of your pitch from start to finish. Includes Season, Postseason & Exhibition Modes and authentic ballparks with unique characteristics from every Major League Baseball club. Make History.
Oh and in case you were wondering what exactly does RBI mean here, it is the initialised form of Run Batted In.
