Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Dev Team Has Most of TLOS Devs
Only ten days ago Naughty Dog enraged some of the Uncharted fans by revealing that the game’s release had been pushed forward to 2016 to allow for more development time.
This was something we had predicted a week prior to the delay was made official, but what’s going to happen is going to happen, right?
Any how, since the development studio got more time on their plate after the delay, and that they were already on a hiring spree, they were able to bring many of The Last of Us developers on board for the multiplayer.
Robert Cogburn, a lead game designer at Naughty Dog, and someone who is also working on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, doesn’t really use Twitter, but he revealed the news through a tweet.
He said that “much of The Last of Us MP team have returned for U4 MP (Uncharted 4 multiplayer)” and went on to name two of the developers who were there.
The first one is Robert Ryan who is a game designer at Naughty Dog and has previously worked on The Last of Us and also Uncharted 3. Then there is Quentin Cobb, a multiplayer designer at the development studio who worked on The Last of Us too.
However, do remember that Cogburn has said they “are just a few” of the developers he is talking about.
So what do you think? Is the delay going to pay off?
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End does not have a specific release date yet but it is known that the PlayStation 4 exclusive is going to get released in the first or second quarter of 2016 – oh the wait!
