Rumor: Batman Arkham Collection Coming to Current-Gen Consoles This Year

By   /   Mar 23, 2015

According to a couple of reports from different sources, Warner Bros. is planning to release remastered Arkham games to current-gen consoles. Well, I’m not really surprised to hear about a Batman Arkham collection coming this year around Christmas.

Remasters are trending! A God of War 3 remaster is also coming btween.

Anyway, sources claim that Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are being remastered, but there is no mention of Origins at the moment. Both games will run at 1080p but frame-rate is not yet known.

On the other hand Warner Bros. hasn’t said a word on the rumor.

If this information is true, that means both remastered games will come out months after the Arkham Knight. It will be a great Christmas gift If you ask me.

Batman Arkham City and Asylum were one of the best games I’ve ever played and both titles were well received by fans and critics. Same is expected from Batman Arkham Knight, the last chapter in this mind blowing trilogy.

Arkham Knight is heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC in June. However, the report suggesting a remastered collection doesn’t mention PC as a platform even though both games originally came out on PC as well.

Since Warner Bros. is yet to comment on the rumor, nothing can be said for sure. We’ll have to wait till an official statement is made regarding an Arkham Collection.
