Project CARS: New Trailer Shows Off Tracks and Locations

A new trailer released for Project CARS shines the spotlight on some of its tracks and the beautiful locations they are set in.

The upcoming racing simulation from Slightly Mad Studios is going to feature a total of thirty tracks (possibly more later on) from around the world. According to the developer, each track is unique in more than just the location it is set in. They have their own variations and signatures that players will experience once they start burning rubber.

The game’s dynamic weather and day/night system is going to play a huge role. Sudden downpours can make the turns incredibly hazardous, clouds can part to have the sun shine directly into your eyes, swift winds can make racing on dirt tracks frustrating, and more.

Project CARS will support 12K resolution in the form of three 4K screens running together, as well as virtual reality. The game was recently revealed to be delayed to May. The game was originally expected to arrive in October last year but continuous delays have pushed it forward.

From the barrage of trailers though, it seems that the wait is going to be worth it. Project CARS is looking amazing and racing fans will really want to keep an eye out for this title.
