Star Wars Battlefront is Coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC Only

By   /   Mar 20, 2015

Its not like we didn’t expect this, but getting an official confirmation from the developers is nice – no offense to all the gamers who still haven’t upgraded to PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, and are fans of Star Wars.

So, Star Wars Battlefront is not being made for the last generation of consoles, instead it is only going to be released to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The official Twitter profile of the game was asked by one of the fans about the platforms that they were making it for. In their reply, EA Digital Illusions CE revealed the platforms.

Star Wars Battlefront will be available holiday 2015, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

In parallel news, it was announced – to the joy of all the Star Trek fans – that the game will make debut at the biggest event for the fans, Star Wars Celebration.

The event is supposed to be held in April and it will last three days between 16 and 1 in Anaheim, California.

Developers have said that they will reveal more information on this in the coming days. So I am sure we will be keeping our radars locked on EA and Crytek UK because none of us can wait to find out more about the reveal that they will be making.

More solid details on the game are still to be revealed although the game is being pegged for a release this year.
