PS4 Exclusive The Tomorrow Children Delayed to Summer 2015

Those who thought of ‘2014’ as the year of delayed video games should probably think again!

Following Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Mortal Kombat X (on last-gen consoles only), Q-Games’ PS4-exclusive The Tomorrow Children has also suffered a oh-not-so-long delay.

The sandbox video game was originally confirmed to release in spring 2015 during Playstation Experience event back in December last year. However, not it seems like the fans will have to wait until summer 2015 to get their hands on the game.

According to GamingBolt, the delay is not surprising as the game was quiet on the media front for quite a while. The confirmation comes from the game’s Engine Technology Director James McLaren who indirectly confirmed it in his GDC 2015 presentation – the presentation is available here but its 180 pages long.

Like I mentioned earlier, this marks the second Playstation 4 title to be delayed in a row following Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End which will now release sometime during spring 2016.

Those who have forgotten how the game looks and plays like, here is a short gameplay footage from The Tomorrow Children alpha testing.

With more and more of PS4 exclusive titles getting delayed back to back, what do you think Sony’s strategy should be? Let us know in the discussion box below.
