Tekken 7 is Indeed Coming to Xbox One & PS4, Unreal Engine 4 Promotional Video Confirms
Not entirely surprising, but Epic Games has unknowingly confirmed that Tekken 7 is slated to launch for Xbox One and Playstation 4.
While announcing removal of subscription fee for Unreal Engine 4, EG showed off a promotional video detailing upcoming games powered by Unreal Engine 4.
Though unintentional, the promotional video showed Tekken 7 as being developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and mentioned Arcade, Xbox One, and PS4 under platforms.
As for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U; none of these consoles support UE4, but interestingly we did not see any mention of PC.
During past year, we saw multiple online listings suggesting that the game may eventually land on PC as well. Even Katsuhiro Harada stated that he might provide PC support in some countries.
With a host of fighting games such as Mortal Kombat X, Street Fighter V, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round already announced for PC, it seems highly unlikely that Tekken 7 will be left behind.
In other Tekken 7 news, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the Arcade-version of Tekken 7 will soon be getting a major visual upgrade.
Furthermore, currently the game is being played without the signature character of Jin Kazama. Harada even refuted some rumors circulating about the exclusion of Jin Kazama from the game’s roster.
