By   /   Mar 4, 2015

Magicka 2 is all set to launch on May 26 for the PlayStation 4 and PC, Paradox Interactive has announced.

The game is currently available for pre-orders on both platforms for $14.99 and early buyers will receive a unique in-game “Headmaster Robe Set.” Additionally the developers is throwing in an exclusive hands-on glimpse this weekend. Come May 5 in North America (May 6 for PlayStation 4 in Europe), Paradox Interactive will provide an early access period for all who have purchased the game so far.

It’s not mentioned as to what content will be accessible during the early access weekend. Players will probably be able to access the entire final game for the remainder of the weekend.

You can watch the release date trailer above.

Magicka 2 will feature an all-new adventure with up to four players in cooperative mode, where they explore a land ravaged by the recent Wizard Wars.

A new game means new enemy types, new friends to meet along the way, a wide selection of attire and weapons, a brand new dynamic spell casting system and of course, new magical abilities.
