Update: Developer Dontnod has stated that the claim of a delay, by a Square Enix Rep isn’t as accurate and the game’s development is on track.

We’ve been asked to clear up the question of when Episode 2 will be released since there have been rumours of a delay. We would like to assure everyone that development is on track and we’re looking to release it before the end of March.

Original Story: Life is Strange fans will be a bit disappointed to know that episode 2 has been delayed. The news was confirmed by Square Enix, publisher of the game.
Square Enix nor developer Dontnod has explained why the game has been delayed. Moreover, there is no comment regarding a new release date.
Episode 2 was expected to hit all major platforms sometime mid- March. Developers previously revealed that each episode will be released 6 weeks apart. After the release of the the first episode, some critics showed concerns over the writing of Life is Strange.
Are the developers taking some more time to improve narration? We can’t say for sure. The game has potential and is on par with Telltale titles, but it can do better.
Overall, Life is Strange is a great and compelling game. Episode 1 left us intrigued and wanting more, many questions remain to be answered but we’ll have to wait a bit longer than originally expected.
