The Arcade version of Tekken 7 is available for Japanese players to enjoy, but developers are not yet done with the game. The arcade version of the 7th main entry in the series, will be getting a graphical upgrade in next couple of months.
Tekken 7 already looks gorgeous but it seems Namco sees room for improvement. The news was shared by none other than Katsuhiro Harada on twitter:
I think Graphical update is end of March or April. RT @Ulect Will there be a graphical update in the March release of the arcade?
Bandai Namco is working to make Tekken 7 a strong entry in the franchise and so far they have done a great job. We know there will be a console version as well, but Bandai Namco has shared very little about it. It seems their main focus for now is the arcade build.
Hopefully, when they are done making updates to Tekken 7 arcade, we’ll hear more about its release on PlayStation and Xbox platforms.
Tekken 7 will finally end the long running Michima saga and it’ll be interesting to see how the series will further progress from there. Bandai Namco has announced a number of characters but the one they want to see the most, Jin Kazama, remains under wraps.
It’s unlikely Bandai Namco will release a Tekken without Jin, so I guess we’ll have to wait for an announcement.
