Mortal Kombat X Will Feature Brutalities, New Teaser Confirms
We have some exciting news for Mortal Kombat fans, NetherRealms has released a new teaser to announce the return of Brutalities. However, we don’t yet know how will Brutalities look like in Mortal Kombat X.
That’s because the new teaser doesn’t feature any actual gameplay. It’s a sound teaser meant to announce Brutalities being a part of the next Kombat Kast stream. Still, it’s pretty freaky though as you can hear sound of flesh and blood gushing due to impact.
Brutalities have a long history with Mortal Kombat games. They were introduced back in Sega Genesis days in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and later in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Brutalities are finishing moves, alternative to the popular Fatalities.
They allowed a player to perform unusually long combo to kill the opponent. Brutalities made the opponent explode brutal manner after the combo was performed. For weeks, speculations surrounded the inclusion of this feature and it looks like fans have finally got what they wished for.
The next Kombat Kast stream will be held today at 3PM Central Time to introduce the new feature. Hopefully, we’ll also see a new character for Mortal Kombat’s roster.
Mortal Kombat X is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on April 14. Check out the brief video teaser above and let us know what you think of it in the comments below.
