The last time we talked about Diablo III was when Blizzard was kicking out cheaters from the leaderboards for violating the rules and exploiting their way to the top.
This time they are giving you a blow by blow on what the next patch 2.2.0 is going to bring to the game – and it looks delicious!
First off, they are going to bring you three new sets to balance the powerful ones that are already at play in the game. All of them are six piece sets that will be allowed for choosing in the PTR:
One of our main goals this patch is to introduce more sets that could compete with the most powerful ones currently in the game. To that end, we’re debuting three new 6 piece sets in patch 2.2.0—Unhallowed Essence, Wrath of the Wastes, and Delsere’s Magnum Opus. You’ll be able to take these items for a spin on the PTR (in Wrath of the Wastes’ case, literally)!
They are also improving some of the sets from the existing ones. While they didn’t give us a complete list, some of them are Zunimassa’s Haunt, Raiment of a Thousand Storms, Roland’s Legacy, Tal Rasha’s Elements, Inna’s Mantra, Natalya’s Vengeance, and Immortal King’s Call.
Fifteen types of gems, armor, rings, and more are being added to the Legendary Items. This will also include the one that Diablo III community helped with at the BlizzCon Legendary Workshop.
There is a lot more in store with the patch 2.2.0 like new new rift layouts in the adventure mode as well as new bounties. You will also get new golbins to chase, a new cosmetic window as well as a switch to the CASC (Content Addressable Storage Container) file system.
That is a lot of new stuff you are going to get in Diablo III patch 2.2.0, don’t you think?
