By now, Assassin’s Creed Unity was supposed to get patch 5 on PC. However, the patch is nowhere to be seen. What could be the case? Ubisoft explained on twitter that PC version of Assassin’s Creed Unity won’t be getting patch 5 as it has been delayed.
Patch 5 is the same one which rolled out for PS4 and Xbox One recently and was expected to hit PC on February 19. On Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the patch removed the biggest annoyance from the game. Yes! unlockable content is no longer exclusive to Initiates or Companion app.
On PC, patch 5 was expected to do the same but now the community will have to face this problem for a little more time. In its post on twitter, Ubisoft said that it will share more details about the patch soon. However, for the time being we don’t know when we can expect to see patch 5 on PC or why it is delayed in the first place.
Whenever the patch comes out, it will deal with a number issues with matchmaking, stealth, fight, progression and more. While those were general issues, there are also some PC specific problem patch 5 will address such as performance improvement, connectivity and overall stability.

We have asked Ubisoft for a comment and hopefully and a new release date for patch 5. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear back from the team.
