A bomb disposal squad and police forces were dispatched to a house in West Belfast, Northern Island after customized buttons of an Xbox 360 controller were confused for ammunition.
On Tuesday, an unknown caller informed the local authorities after discovering a large stock of bullet-styled Xbox 360 controller buttons in an abandoned house in the Sliabh Dubh Lane in West Belfast.
Both the police forces and a bomb disposal squad were immediately dispatched to deal with the situation. However, after thorough observation, the forces declared the collection as potentially unharmful.
A spokesperson for the local authorities also confirmed this much saying that the bullet-like objects are indeed unharmful and not suspicious in any way:
A number of items that were taken away have now been examined and declared to be not suspicious. A number of items that were taken away have now been examined and declared to be not suspicious.
You can come across a wide range of customized buttons like these on Amazon and eBay – just as the one shown in the featured images above.
