Wargaming’s F2P World of Tanks is headed to Xbox One and will offer cross-play between Xbox One and Xbox 360 players.
According to IGN, a battle server is shared between Xbox One and Xbox 360 which will ensure cross-play. In addition to this, both of these systems will also share content update and community members:
A battle server shared between both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 will ensure cross-platform play, meaning that players will be able to battle each other, regardless of which generation console they use. Both systems will also share content updates and community members.
The game is available as a free download to Xbox Live Gold Subscribers and offers a bunch of in-game purchases. Players who will make an upgrade from Xbox 360 to Xbox One will be able to carry their progress from one generation to the other generation.
