We know that Codemasters is developing an F1 2015 title for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We were also told that the game will follow the actual F1 season, and is going to be released earlier in the new season. Later on, developers will release regular updates to match the results of the season.
Apart from that, we knew nothing and were never given a look at the upcoming game. However, that has changed now as some images from an internal email have been leaked alongside some new details.
The details which are shown with the images, claim that the developers are working to improve lighting and anti-aliasing. The title is currently running at 45-55 frames per second on PlayStation 4, but Codemasters is aiming to hit 60.
Moreover, F1 2015 will ship with a selection of last year’s cars alongside some new ones and updates will be released to add more content in accordance to the season.
There are also some “hybrid 2015 cars” that will feature parts from both 2014 and 2015 models. Regarding this leak, Codemasters had the following to say:
The work-in-progress images were taken from a confidential internal development email. At this time, all content is subject to approval by Formula One Management and the teams.
Well, atleast we know all of these details are not fake. Formula One season will begin in March 2015 and will end in November. So we can expect the game to be released in a couple of months.
