Another free multiplayer open weekend has been announced by Sony to happen for the PlayStation 4 this Friday in Europe.
All those who currently are not subscribed to Sony’s online platform will be able to test its features out later this week. Being a PlayStation Plus member is mandatory if you’re interested in playing games online on your PlayStation 4. With recent releases like Destiny, GTA V, FIFA 15 and Far Cry 4, not playing online is missing out on half of the experience.
The multiplayer free weekend will run from Friday, February 13 at 6:00 a.m. GMT/7:00 a.m. CET to Monday, February 16 at 6:00 a.m. GMT/7:00 a.m. CET. During this time you’ll be only given access to the PlayStation 4’s online multiplayer module. Note that it will not allow you to access the free games up for grabs this month in the PlayStation Store, and neither will you be able to take advantage of discounts or cloud storage.
You can become a PlayStation Plus member right now for £5.49/€6.99 per month.
