The latest trailer for the upcoming remaster of DmC Devil May Cry takes us back to Vergil’s Bloody Palace, a 60-floor combat arena where Dante’s brother rips through waves of enemies.
Unlike Dante’s Bloody Palace, Vergil’s progression begins on Nephilim difficulty for the first twenty waves. It then switches to Son of Sparda difficulty and finally ends with twenty more waves of insanely difficult challenges for Vergil to overcome.
Even the most skilled players will find that there’s more to do here than just running in and killing everything in sight. As the difficulty increases, the enemies become harder to overcome and you may find yourself being overwhelmed. Players will have to stack up as many kinds of damage as possible to get rid of each summoned wave. Not to mention, perfecting your combos is a must. The best of the lot will be able to survive the bloody palace and they’ll be able to do so in style.
DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition is due for release on March 10 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The overhauled version will run everything at 1080p settings, while pumping out constant 60 frames-per-second.
