Microsoft recently announced a Limited Edition Xbox One Bundle for Japan.
The said bundle packs a glacier white Xbox One console, similar to Sunset Overdrive Bundle which was released in the western market. This bundle, however, replaces Insomniac Games’ open-world shooter with 343 Industries’ Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
The bundle will set users back 39,980 yen and contains a 500 GB Xbox One, a digital download code for Halo: TMCC, 14-day Xbox Live Gold Trial, and a standard chat headset (which works only for chat, not in-game audio).
According to Xbox.com, Microsoft plans to release the bundle in Japan starting Feb. 19, 2015. Furthermore, the consumers who will buy the bundle before Mar. 1, 2015 will receive a 5,000 yen added discount.
Currently there is no word whether Microsoft plans to get this to the U.S. or not, but we’ll make sure to update as soon as we hear anything.
In related Halo: The Master Chief Collection news, 343 Industries continues to roll out patches for the game. A couple of days ago, 343 Industries promised that a new patch is scheduled to roll out by the end of February 2015 and will ensure to provide an experience, the game was initially meant to give.
