MGS5 The Phantom Pain Chinese Release, Language Confirmed
Great news for those of you who have been eyeing for a localized release of MGS5 The Phantom Pain in Mainland China! It looks like Konami Asia really heard you; the publishers have confirmed that you will be able to play Snake in a “Traditional Chinese” release of the game!
Konami Digital Entertainment Limited revealed that the release of the game in the region is going to come packing with Chinese subtitles and menu text for those who want their local language on it.
However, the release date schedule for China remains a mystery alongside the release plans of the rest of the world.
MGS5 The Phantom Pain is going to get one hell of a release all around the world! Here’s what Konami has said:
Konami Digital Entertainment Limited is pleased to announce that the latest title in the METAL GEAR series METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN will include Traditional Chinese subtitles and menu text! (Release date and further details TBA). By popular demand, Traditional Chinese language support has been added to “MGSV: TPP” to bring a better METAL GEAR experience to the Asian players. Please look forward to it!
When you are talking about something as big as this one, a little bit of figure flaunting doesn’t harm. So we were also told that thanks to the classical stealth genre that the game follows and the admirable themes, it has sold over 39.7 million copies as of September 30, 2014.
Imagine what The Phantom Pain is going to do to that figure!
Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain is being developed for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It doesn’t have a release date yet but Hideo Kojima has said the game will be released in 2015.
