Gaming has been evolving since being brought to life, and now it has come to a stage, where almost everyone is asking for realistic gameplay in every single game.
To make this possible, there are a number of tools and among them is DirectX. Xbox Head, Phil Spencer during Windows 10 event earlier today showcased a comparison video which revealed the power of the upcoming DirectX 12.
The video, which you can see above, compares the performance of DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 on the same hardware, and results as you would expect, show that the DX12 is way more powerful than its predecessor.
Although there is not much to go on at the moment, but looking at the visuals of Fable Legends, which utilizes the power of DX12, we can safely assume that it will indeed be the right choice for the new games.
Speaking of Fable Legends, the game received a lot of attention at the Windows 10 event today, and it was revealed that the game will allow cross-platform play between Xbox One and PC.
A new trailer for the game was also revealed at the event, which showcased some new gameplay and provided some tidbits on the game.
There’s no release date provided for Fable Legends just yet, but it is expected to come out in the year 2015.
