With Battlefield Hardline coming out in less than a couple of months and beta for the game beginning in just a few weeks, the developers have decided to shift gears. Instead of just appealing to a whole new community with the upcoming game, the developers are looking forward to involve hardcore Battlefield 4 players into the upcoming title as well.
Today, the game’s official website revealed that the players of Battlefield 4 will be awarded weekly treats that would have Hardline flavor attached to them. On Wednesday of every week until Hardline’s release, BF4 players will get their hands on following goodies.
- Gold Battlepacks
- Community Missions
- Hardline-themed Dog Tags
- Exclusive wallpaper
That’s not all, as developers have announced a new community mission that will start on 9 AM PST today, and will last until Jan. 24 11:59 PM PST.
During this event, Battlefield 4 players will have to work together and score over 2 billion points in Rush Mode. Upon completing this gigantic task, players will be able to access Battlefield Hardline Heists during the upcoming beta.
Visceral Games is slowly giving out details on the upcoming beta, but hasn’t provided an official date for it just yet.
Battlefield Hardline after suffering a delay last year will now launch on March 17 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
