The release of Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath in Japan is not that far away and to keep the fans in the loop, Sega has released a new video featuring the game’s producer Masayoshi Yokoyama who introduces the PS Vita companion app for the game.
The app will be made available in the Japanese PS Store starting February 26, just ahead of the game’s release. This app will allow players to play some of the mini-games from the game on their handheld device and the profits earned will be added to the game’s PS4/PS3 version.
The fans that have got their hands on the series before will be familiar with some of the mini-games that would be a part of Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath. There will be gambling and action based ring fights which will earn you a lot of cash in a very little time.
Among the two mentioned activities, there will be a ton of other stuff to do in the game as well. Furthermore, there will be the main storyline to look forward to which will shed some light on the early days of Kazuma Kiryu and Majima Goro.
Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath is set to release on PS3 and PS4 on Mar. 12, 2015. Currently, Sega has not announced whether the game will be coming out of Japan or not, but we are hoping to find more about that after the initial release.
