Yesterday, many online publications reported that Nintendo’s new Fire Emblem title will be released around the world in 2015. The title was announced last week, but without a release date which led many fans to speculate.
The report was based around a newsletter released by Nintendo Australia which led many fans to believe that the game will be heading to 3DS later this year. However, the newsletter showing Fire Emblem’s release as 2015 was an error on Nintendo’s part.
Nintendo has now corrected their mistake and listed the game under “TBA.” This indicates that the game won’t be coming to 3DS this year. Nintendo has apologize for their mistake and made things clear.
You might not be able to play the New Fire Emblem game anytime soon, but the same newsletter reminds us of the games that are coming this year for 3DS:
- Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D – Feb. 14, 2015
- Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate – Feb. 14, 2015
- Mario and Donkey Kong – Mar. 21, 2015
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3D – Apr. 2, 2015
- Codename S.T.E.A.M.
As for Fire Emblem, very little is known about the game and Nintendo doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to share details or a release date. The only thing Nintendo has revealed is that for the development of this title; veterans Kozaki Yusuke and Shin Kibayashi will return.
