Focus Home Interactive has announced Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, a real-time strategy title based off the tabletop game set in Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 universe.
The game is being made in Unreal Engine 4 by Etherium developer Tindalos Interactive and will focus on space warfare. Players can expect spaceships from familiar factions like Imperial, Chaos, Eldar and Ork.
It’s uncertain as to how many of these ships will actually be controllable by players.
The announcement though suggests that players will be able to manage each one of them. Additionally there will be customization options for each vehicle, allowing players to tinker with offensive and defense capabilities.
Surviving battles translate into gaining experience and promotions, helping you make your ship more powerful.
Battlefleet Gothic Armada doesn’t have a release date yet, but Focus Home Interactive has promised more information soon.
Fans of the Warhammer franchise who are looking forward to battling in deep space to gain control of the Gothic sector should place Battlefleet Gothic: Armada on their radars.
