Since the multi-licensing deal between Sega and Creative Assembly for Warhammer Games in 2012, fans have been eagerly waiting to see what this partnership will bring.
However, to no one’s surprise, the deal was made to develop a new entry in the Total War franchise that will be based on the Warhammer’s universe.
The name of this new entry in the series has been mentioned in the art book that has been put together by the developers to cover the history of Total War gaming franchise.
The art book wasn’t scheduled to come out until the end of January, but it seems that some copies got leaked, providing the information on Total War: Warhammer.
You can check out the excerpt taken from the art book posted below.
Currently, Creative Assembly is working on Total War: Attila, which is scheduled to come out in February. The studio may have planned to announce the game after Attila, but courtesy of art book, it got leaked early.
Warhammer is a great franchise with a lot of fan following, and I am sure Creative Assembly will be able to attract most of them with their upcoming title Total War: Warhammer.
Now that the cat is out of the bag, we can expect developers to officially announce the game in the coming days.
