Safe Haven, the third DLC pack for Alien: Isolation, was released earlier today and is now available for purchase.
Amongst everything, the new content pack features the Salvage Challenge, a new mode which tasks players to complete a series of ten challenges in the Survivor Mode without dying. Continuous waves of enemies will try to stop you – permanently – and all the while a clock will be ticking down on you from above.
Upon the completion of a particular task, the game will bestow upon you new rewards and points. These will in turn unlock new items which players can collect and craft.
Safe Haven also adds a new playable character called Hughes, Sevastopol Station’s Communications Manager. He’s trapped in a safe room on the lower decks of the Station. However, he has more to do than just simply escaping with his life. Hughes must complete ten tasks to restore communications and then bail.

Alien: Isolation – Safe Haven is available now on the PS3, P4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The standalone game was released in October last year to mixed receptions. Many though praised it for its ambiance and visuals.
